Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let the number be x
other number = 3x+28
4(3x+28)-4x=232
12x+112-4x=232
8x+112=232
8x=232-112
8x=120
/8
x=15
one number is 15
other number is 3x+28
3*15+28
73
the numbers are 15 & 73
