The sum of two numbers is twenty. Three times the smaller is equal to two times the larger. Find the two numbers.
------------------
Let one of the numbers be "x".
The other is 20-x.
EQUATION:
3x=2(20-x)
3x=40-2x
x=40 (one of the numbers)
20-x=-20 (the other number)
