Shoveling the snow 1 job
Janet 50 minutes
She does 1/50 job in 1 hour
Bill 45 minutes
He does 1/45 of thejob in 1 hour

Together they will do 1/50 + 1/45 +
Together they will do 3/71 of the job in one hour
So they will take 23 2/3 minutes
