Question 469986: The equation used to predicted college GPA (range 0-4.0) is ŷ= 0.23+0.52x1 +0.002x2, Where x1 is high school GPA
(range 0-4.0) and x2 is college board score (range 200-800). Use the multiple regression equation to predict college GPA
For a high school GPA of 3.6 and a college board score of 500.
The predicted college GPA for a high school GPA of 3.6 and a college board score of 500 is ____ (Round to the nearest
Tenth as needed)

Answer by jorel1380(3719)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
 y=0.23+0.52x1 +0.002x2
y=.23+.52(3.6)+.002(500)2
y=.23+1.872+500
y=502.102!!!
Impossible---since a perfect GPA is 4.0
y=.23+1.872+.002(500)=.23+1.872+1=3.102
More plausible..
