Answer by jorel1380(3719) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4(x+x+384)=5(x+384-x)
4(2x+384)=5(384)
8x=384
x=48
The speed of the plane in still air is 384+48 mph, or 432 mph. The speed of the wind is 48 mph..
