A 3 digit no.,in which the digit in the unit place is the smallest of the 3 digits,
three digits: x, y, z, (z is the units digit)
:
is such that the sum of the squares of the digit is 149.
x^2 + y^2 + z^2 = 149
:
if each of the digits is replaced by it's predecessor, the new no. has 2 digits common with the original no.
:
the digit in the unit place of the original no. is?
:
Not sure about this, cannot satisfy the last requirement.
My solution is z = 2, is the units digit
the other two digits are 8 and 9, 892 or 982 is the 3 digit number
:
8^2 + 9^2 + 2^2 = 149
