x+y=25...................1
2x=3y
2x-3y=0..................2
Eliminate y
multiply (1)by 3
Multiply (2) by 1
3 x + 3 y = 75
2 x + -3 y = 0
Add the two equations
5 x = 75
/ 5
x = 15
plug value of x in (1)
1 x + 1 y = 25
15 + 1 y = 25
1 y = 25-15
1 y = 10
