The sum of 2 angles are 180 degrees. 1 is 5 times more than the smaller angle. What is the degree of the 2 angles?
.
Let x = degrees of smaller angle
then
5x = degrees of larger angle
.
x + 5x = 180
6x = 180
x = 30 degrees (smaller angle)
.
Larger angler:
5x = 5(30) = 150 degrees (larger angle)
