Hi
Let x and c represent rate of boat and current respectively
Question states*** D = r*t OR r = D/t
x + c = 60mi/1hr
x - c = 60mi/2hr
x + c = 60mph
x - c = 30mph
2x = 90mph
x = 45mph, speed of the boat
45mph + c = 60mph
c = 15mph, the rate of the current
