If one painter charges a base price of $250 plus $16/hr
A(x) = 250+16x
---------------------------
and another painter charges a base price of $210 plus $18/hr
B(x) = 210+18x
---------------------------
how many hours does it take for them to be the same?

A(x)=B(x)
250+16x = 210+18x
2x = 40
x = 20 hrs
