Hi
Let x represent the time in minutes to dig 4ft
Question Sets Up a Proportion, need to use same units in a Proportion
60sec = 1 min
|cross multiply to solve for x
1.86x = 4
x = 4/1.86
x = 2.15 min (makes sense as almost dug 2ft in 1 min)
