I multiplied 60*3 and got 90 then I divided 90 by 2 and got 45.

Hi, Best to proceed in a traditional manner by forming the blend algebraically  

I. Assigning the variable       

Let x represent the amount of the green tea mixture used in the final blend

II.Writing as we Read***Mixing to form $2.00 blend

 $1.25*x + 3.00*60oz = $2.00 (60oz + x)

III.solving for x

     60oz = .75x

     60oz/.75 = x

    x = 80oz, the amount of the green tea mixture used



IV. CHECKING Our Answer***

  $1.25*80 + $3.00*60 = $100 + $180 = $280 = $2.00*140
