Let t and (t + 2hr)) represent the times at 28kmph and 24kmph respectively
D = r*t, distances the same at both speeds
28kmph*t = 24kmph*(t + 2hr)
solve for t
28kmph*t - 24kmph*t = 48km
4kmpht = 48km
t = 12hr
28kmph*12hr = 336km, the distance between the villages

28kmph*12hr = 336km = 24kmph*14hr
