An airline company completed an on-board passenger survey of 400 customers in an attempt to measure the number of bags checked by those traveling on business or for pleasure. The results are as follows:
Business passengers 0 checked 50, 1 checked 60, 2 checked 30, 3 or more checked 10 Total 150
Pleasure passengers 0 checked 20, 1 checked 80, 2 checked 30, 3 or more 60 checked. Total 250
Total for 0 checked=70 Total for 1 checked=140 Total for 2 checked=120
Total for 3 or more checked=70
Total for both business and pleasure 400 total checked bags.
What is the probability that a passenger who responded to the survey was a business customer?
