The model N=10(4+3t)/1.25 describes the number of deer (N) in a park t years after 40 deer are introduced into the region. Approximately how long will it take the deep population to reach 224?
I thought I would have to foil it first, but then I seconded quessed myself and got confused.

We can do it this way:
10() = 224
Divide both sides by 10
= 22.4
Multiply both sides by 1.25
4 + 3t = 1.25(22.4)
4 + 3t = 28
3t = 28 - 4
3t = 24

t = 8 yrs
