Let x = length of upper base
Area = h * (upper base + lower base)/2
15d * (x + x + 10)/2 = 185d
Multiply both sides by 2/15
2x + 10d = 185d (2/15)
2x = 24.67d - 10d
2x = 14.67d
x = 7.33d

I will assume that the problem is as follows:
a trapezoid has an area of sq. meters and a height of 15d meters. The lower base is 10d meters more than the upper base. Find the length of the upper base.
Then the solution is as follows: , where u is the length of the upper base. Then
, after simplification.
,
,
meters, the length of the upper base.
