mixed with 8 litres of a 3%
mix 9% solution (x+8)litres
..
0.12x+8*0.03=0.09(x+8)
0.12x+0.24=0.09x+0.72
0.03x=0.72-0.24
0.03x=0.48
x=0.48/0.03
x=16 litres of 12% alchohol
