66. Rectangular stage. One side of a rectangular stage is 2 meters longer than the other. If the diagonal is 10 meters, then what are the lengths of the sides?
96. Venture capital. Henry invested $12,000 in a new restaurant. When the restaurant was sold two years later, he received $27,000. Find his average annual return by solving the equation 12,000(1+r)^2=27,000.

One side is x+2
Another side ix x
It came to be a right triagnle:
so:
(x+2)^2+x^2=10^2
x^2+4x+4+x^2=100
2x^2+4x-96=0
x^2+2x-48=0
Factor it and you get x= 6
6+2=8
Hence, the sides are 6 and 8cm.

2.12000(1+r^2+2r)=27000
12000+12000r^2+24000r=27000
12000r^2+24000r-15000=0
