Three times the complement of an angle is 18 more than its supplement. Find the angle
-----------------
Let the angle be "x".
Its supplement is "180-x".
Its complement is "90-x".
----------------------------------
Equation:
3(90-x) = 180-x+18
270-3x = 198-x
72 = 2x
x = 36 degrees.
