The senior classes ot Hish school A and High shcool B planned separate trips to NYC. The class @ High school A rented and filled 1 van and 6 buses with 372 students. Answer by scott8148(6628) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
v + 6b = 372
4v + 12b = 780 ___ dividing by 4 ___ v + 3b = 195
subtracting equations ___ v + 6b - (v + 3b) = 372 - 195 ___ 3b = 177 ___ b = 59
substituting ___ v + 3(59) = 195 ___ v = 18
