I often use rebates for items I purchase regularly. For example, recently a beauty company offered a $15 rebate when you purchase at least 3 items costing at least a total of $15 from their product line. The formula for determining the cost after the rebate is C = P � R. (Cost = Price � Rebate)
A. Please solve the above equation for the P.
B. If my cost is $8 after the rebate, then how much was my total price?
