To estimate the size of the bear population on the Keeweenaw Peninsula, conservationists captured, tagged, and released 50 bears. One year later, a random sample of 100 bears included only 2 tagged bears. What is the conservationist�s estimate of the size of the bear population?

Next year random sample of 100 bears included only two tagged bears.

I think the answer should be 2500.

Basically, you set up a ratio.

2 is to 100 as 50 is to x.
