Question 30105: What are the steps in finding the answer to: 2/3x=6 ?
Answer by Fermat(136)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(2/3)x= 6
multiply both sides by 3 to get rid of fraction bits. This gives,
3*(2/3)x = 3*6 = 18
2x = 18
now divide both sides by 2.
x = 9
