let's try a few numbers
29/16=1 plus 13/16
45/16=2 plus 13/16
61/16/=3 plus 13/16
29/8=3 plus 5/8
45/8=5 plus 5/8
61/8=7 plus 5/8
Why does this happen?
16/8=2
13-8=5
13/8=1 5/8
so the remainder when divided by 8 is 5
