Gene will eat three times as much pizza as Tina.
Tina will eat twice as much pizza as Brenda.
If the pizza is cut into 36 slices, how many slices will Tina eat?

g + t + b = 36
g = 3t
t = 2b
--------
Substitute for g and t to get:
6b + 2b + b = 36
9b = 36
b = 4
So, t = 8
And g = 24
