Answer by richwmiller(17219)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
cost of 5 (x) apples is 100 (b)
the 100/5 (b/x) =20 each (b/x)
15 (y) apples will cost 15*20 y*b/x
now just in letters
cost of x apples is b cents
b/x= cost for each
y*b/x cost of y apples
