sorry, but you can do this by thinking...

odd integers are 1,3,5,7,9,11, etc

Add 2 consecutive ones together such that sum is less than 100.

Well? 49+51 is 100, so less than that, you have 47+49. Done!

The question did not say use any particular method. I have answered the question.
