Answer by checkley77(12844) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
L=2W+2
2L+2W=40
2(2W+2)+2W=40
4W+4+2W=40
6W=40-4
6W=36
W=36/6
W=6 ANS.
L=2*6+2
L=12+2=14 ANS.
PROOF:
2*14+2*6=40
28+12=40
40=40
