This attempt at role reversals is ludicrous. THe whole family should have bene making cookies.
x-(4+6)=y
y/2=z
x-10-z=13
36 cookies were made
Since the two daughters ate half of what remained after the son and friend ate 10 cookies, the daughters ate 13
The father was left with as many as the girls ate.
13+13+10=36
