Since there are 7 days in one week, you are really asking:
"What is the least common multiple (LCM) of 3 and 7?"
One approach is to list the multiples of each number and select the smallest (least) common multiple.
3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18. 21, 24,...
7, 14, 21, 28,...
You can see that 21 is the LCM of 3 and 7, so you will have to wait 21 days until you have karate and lift weights on the same day.
