The difference of the squares of two prime numbers is 10197. What is the sum of
the squares of the two numbers?
-------------
Since the difference is an odd number, one of the prime numbers has to be an even number. The only even prime is 2, and its square is 4.
10197 + 4 = 10201 = 101^2
The numbers are 2 and 101.
---------------------
The sum of their squares is 10205.
-----------------
PS -2 and -101 also work.
