You're pretty good if you can do it without algebra!
It is given that the same number of both the jeans
and shirts were sold on both days
Let = number of jeans sold on both days
Let = number of shirts sold on both days
given:

Now I will multiply both sides of (1) by
and both sides of (2) by . Then I will
subtract (1) from (2)
