what is the distance traveled from 2400ft at a descent rate of 15ft/sec with a 5mph wind?
----------------
If you mean how far horizontally while descending at that rate:
2400/15 = 160 seconds
5 mph = 26400 feet/hour = 440 feet/min = (22/3) feet/sec
160 sec * 22/3 ft/sec = 3520/3 feet lateral displacement
=~ 1173 feet
