If s varies inversely as sqrt(d) find the percentage change in the value of s when the value of d is reduced by 75%.

s = k/sqrt(d)
----
If D = 0.75d
S = k/sqrt(D)
S = k/sqrt((3/4)d)
S = k/(1/2)sqrt(3d)
---
s/S = [k/sqrt(d)]/[k/[(1/2)(sqrt(3)*sqrt(d)]
Cancel the k and the sqrt(d):
s/S = 1/[(1/2)sqrt(3)
s/S = 2/sqrt(3)
s/S = 1.1547
s/S = 115.47%
