Question 250558: A person has 29 1/2 yards of material available to make uniforms. Each uniform

Answer by richwmiller(17219) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
29 1/2=29.5
3/4=.75
29.5/.75
Only the whole number is useful. You can't make a part of a uniform
so multiply the whole number result by .75 and subtract that from 29.5 to get left over
or subtract the result from 29.5 and multiply by 3/4 or .75
