You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Find the slope:
Slope is Rise over run. Rise = 1800 ft and run = 3.25 miles.
Slope = (1800 ft.)/(3.25 miles) Conver miles to feet.
1 mole = 5,280 ft.
3.25 miles = 3.25(5,280)ft. = 17,160 ft.
Slope = 1,800/17,160
Slope = 0.104895
Slope = 0.1 to the nearest hundredth.
