Step 3. Let 435x be the monthly dollar value of one-bedroom apartments.

Step 4. Let 575(200-x) be the monthly dollar value of two-bedroom apartments.

Step 5. Then, be the total monthly dollar value.

Step 6. Solving yields the following steps

Add 140x to both sides of the equation

Subtract 97500 from both sides of the equation

Divide 140 to both sides of the equation

and
