a) complete the table and graph the results

X 0 1 5 10
Y
B) Find the number of units thatmust be produced each hour to earn an hourly wage of $12.25.

Answer by rapaljer(4671)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y=0.25x + 9
x=0, y = .25*0 +9 = 9.00
x= 1, y = .25*1 + 9 = 9.25
x= 5, y = .25*5 + 9 = 1.25 + 9 = 10.25
x= 10, y= .25*10 + 9 = 2.50 + 9 = 11.50
Graph the points, and it should look like this:

If y = 12.25, then find x:
y= 0.25x + 9
12.25 = 0.25x +9

Subtract 0 from each side:
12.25 - 9 = 0.25x +9-9
3.25 = .25x

Divide both sides by .25
