Question 214721: Quadratics and complex numbers:Analyzing Quadratics in vertex form f(x)=(x-h)^2

Question:
The sides of a pool are given by x + 10 feet and x - 11 feet. If the area of the pool is 490 square feet, what are the dimensions of the pool?

Answer by vleith(2983)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Given dimensions are feet and feet and area = 490 square feet

x = 25
If x - 25, then x+10 = 35 and x-11 = 14
