FIND THREE CONSECUTIVE ODD INTEGERS SUCH THAT FOUR TIMES THE MIDDLE INTEGER IS TWICE THE SUM OF THE OTHER TWO INTEGERS

Step 1. Let n be an odd integer, n+2 be the next consecutive odd or middle integer, and n+4 be the second consecutive odd integer

Step 2. 4(n+2)=2(n+n+4) since middle integer is twice the sum of n+n+4

Step 3. The above result means any 3 consecutive odd integers will satisfy the above equation or problem statement. For example,

1, 3, 5 implies 4(3)=2(1+5) or 12=12

3, 5, 7 implies 4(5)=2(3+7) or 20=20

5, 7, 9 implies 4(7)=2(5+9) or 28=28
