and twice as productive as the third worker.
How many bushels did the second most productive worker pick?
:
Let x = one worker's production
then
x = a second worker's production
and
x = a third worker's production
:
x + x + x = 66
Multiply equation by 6, results:
6x + 2x + 3x = 6(66)

11x = 396
x =
x = 36 bu/day is the 1st worker's production
then
* 36 = 12 bu/day is the 2nd workers production
