(2*2x+3*x)/(2*3)-7=x
(4x+3x)/6-7=x
7x/6-7=x
7x/6-x=7

x/6=7
x=7*6
x=42 is the total number of students.

2*42/3+42/2-7=42
84/3+21-7=42
28+21-7=42
42=42
