You have something wrong with the way you stated this problem. If Andrew was 10mph faster than 155, it had to be 165 (which it actually was). But the most Katrina could have been was 130 and 25 more than that is only 155. In fact, Katrina's sustained wind speed at 2nd landfall at Buras-Triumph, Louisiana on August 29, 2005 was 125 mph. However, that was a significant reduction from its highest sustained wind speed of 175 mph (Cat 5) the day before. So, in actuality, comparing Andrew to Katrina at landfall for both of them, the difference is 40 mph in favor of Andrew.
