(1/4)x+(1//8)x+(1/2)x+10=x
:
2x+x+4x+80=8x
:
x=80
:
(1/2)x=1/2(80)=40 years as an active man

=2/8 + 1/8 + 4/8
=7/8
10 yrs = 1/8 of his life as an old man.
So, 40 yrs as an active man.
