Question 190709: A woman buys four CD’s for $52.92, including 8% sales tax. How much did each cost?
Answer by littlebear91(2) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Total Cost(including tax) = 52.92
Total Sale Price * (1 + Sale Tax %)= Total Cost
Total Sale Price * (1.08)=52.92
Total Sale Price = 52.92/1.08
Total Sale Price=49
Since you know She brought 4 CD
Divide Total Sale Price By Number of CD and you get Price Per CD
49/4=$12.25/ CD
