Question 174218: how do you solve x^2-9/x+2*x^2-4/x-3
Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
[x^2-9/x+2] * [x^2-4/x-3]
Factor:
[(x-3)(x+3)/(x+2)] * [(x-2)(x+2)/(x-3)]
Cancel factors common to a numerator and a denominator to get:
=[(x+3)/1] * [(x-2)/1]
= (x-3)(x-2)
