Question 169700: Can you please help me with this problem?
During 3.14 s, a rolling wheel accelerates at a rate of 1.24 m/s^2. It has a displacement of 84 m duting that time. What was the wheel's initial velocity?
My choices are:
a. 24.8 m/s
b. 27.4 m/s
c. 28.7 m/s
d. 77.9 m/s
Thanks for your help !!!!!!!
Answer by scott8148(6628) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
d=(1/2)at^2+vt
84=(1/2)(1.24)(3.14)^2 + v (3.14)
84=6.113 + 3.14v
77.887=3.14v
24.805=v
