A) The favorite subjects are art, biology, math, social studies, and math.
B) Lewis and the person whose favorite subject is social studies have lunch together.
C) Polly and Sam both dislike the experiments in science class.
D) Molly is a very talented athlete and is on the track and volleyball teams.
E) Sam jokingly says," I can't draw a straight line with a ruler."

I am not sure there is enough or the right information in this question. I assume that the second math listed should read physical education. I dont know how Lewis got into this since the first letter of his name does not start with any of the subjects first letter. If Lewis was named Bob as in the first letter of biology I would have this problem solved for sure.
The easiest and first name to match is Molly who is a very talented athlete and is on the track and volley ball teams. therefore since her name doesnt begin with a P we will list her favorite subject as physical education.
Next, lets deal with Sam he basically dislikes biology and isnt good at math and since his name starts with S then social studies is out too. That leaves only one subject so Sam is matched with Art.
Polly doesnt like biology so she is either matched with math or social studies.
Lewis had lunch with the person who's favorite subject is Social Studies so he is matched with either biology or math.
Anthony can be any choice that is remaining:biology,math, or social studies.
If as I said Lewis was Bob
then he couldnt be biology and would have to be matched to math.
That being the case Polly would have to be matched to Social Studies because Math is already matched to Bob
that leaves Anthony matched to biology.
Please let me know if you have left something out of this problem. It seems something is left out or the name Lewis should be changed to Bob.
