You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If a grandfather clock takes five seconds to strike 6 o'clock, how many seconds will it take to strike 12 o'clock?
------------------
The "trick" here is that there are 5 intervals between strikes for 6, and 11 for 12.
----------------
1st strike at 6.
1 interval between 1 & 2
1 interval between 2 & 3
1 interval between 3 & 4
1 interval between 4 & 5
1 interval between 5 & 6
Done at 6:00:05
---------------------------
5/5 = 1 seconds per interval
At 12, there are 11 intervals.
11*1 = 11 seconds.
