Let the two numers be x and y.
x+y=23-----(1)
3x+2y=57----(2)
Multiply(1)by 2
2x+2y=46 Subtract this from(2)gives:
x=11 substitute this into(1)
11+y=23 subtract 11 from both sides
y=12
numbers are 11 and 12
